Hello Nathan,Have you done any of the boot camps through Deeper Pockets? 

And has anyone taken the boot camps?

This is definitely a controversial topic and I am in the camp of being a passive investor. 

I once had a guest come and stay from a camping trip in Yellowstone, and they sent me very nice messages about how nice having hot water and lots of towels and offered to pay a little extra for doing extra loads of laundry. 

My husband and me find some deals we run the number , the camps we took the construction guys and they gave us the estimate but we know that 10k has to be unknown or more but the problem is how we can get the prof of fund or a letter and we want to do it as a wholesaler, we want to put in under contract then we can marketing to our cash buyer.

If that’s the case, I don’t want to tell you you’re being unrealistic, but you’re being unrealistic.This doesn’t happen overnight and and I just don’t see this happening in 4 years.

Some of them are more of a boot-camp style and put more emphasis on education.

I suspect you may fall into this camp and if you have already made up your mind I'm not inclined to try to waste both of our time offline trying to change it. 

PDX went in a little different direction to spur gentrification in these areas they gave TAX breaks and or tax moratorium for 10 years.. there are many homes and condo's that have this tax treatment and of course they sell over night who would not buy something that you don't have to pay tax on for 10 years.. but it cleans up the area its only for homeowners.
