I have 2 dependents and will be the primary caregiver for both my parents and his parents as they age so we want to hustle now so we aren't stressed financially by these responsibilities in 10-15years and are able to maintain the standard of living we have achieved with income from our (now) primary business. 

However, as time went on, I found that the passive income generated from my rental property allowed me to achieve financial stability and freedom.

Please remember, the focus here is on compliance with Canadian privacy laws and respecting the privacy of individuals while still achieving our goals.

But for me, I know what lifestyle I want to live (it's not Bezos-level), and we've reverse-engineered the math to see how many properties we need to achieve that lifestyle when we want to retire in 15 years or so. 

You have to evaluate based on market, but there are other means of achieving forced appreciate that might make more sense. 

A lot of Midwest markets offer more favorable numbers to achieve this. 

I do hope Prefab can be achieved with Town Houses.

Buyers today are still looking for good investments (obviously), but the most achievable scenario is short-term renting a property to help subsidize (or fully cover) expenses while living out a lifelong dream to own property in Provincetown.
