We do have a meeting with a local broker/real estate agent next week but thought it would be best to jump on line and take a look at some local properties and if nothing else practice our valuation process.

Obviously you'll need to make sure you get a job/W2 income for at least 2 weeks to a month to get a loan to buy but luckily that's way easier than if you're having to work with 1099's starting out because most lenders require at least 2 years of tax returns at that point to get a loan.

We were going to stay here but someone rented it for a week that was displaced from another STR that had damage. 

We were able to get a SFR and a duplex under contract last month and we will be closing on both properties in a couple of weeks, all thanks to Chris!  

While it is most common for SFH lawns to be tenant-responsibility, we are offering a weekly mowing service for $100/mo due to being such a large lot, if applicant/tenant so chooses. 

I just closed last week on a duplex, new roof, windows, siding, furnaces, HW tanks, all cosmetic for ready,.....70k, Rented for 1800.

Chicago Attendees, As we prepare for Cancun next week, I was thinking that it would be fun to organize a little Moon Palace get-together for Chicago-area attendees once we are all down there.
