I would really not do what others say unless they do what you want to do.I would tend to invest in a diverse economy, has a population that is growing, and public transportation nearby.  

For me, I had failed to make payments on a few credit cards and student loans.

Scott had mentioned Squarespace which seems to be a good platform to build what I would call a brochure site, similar to a flashy online business card.

It also tracks your expenses and income, either by snapping a picture of a receipt or by linking your bank information/credit cards and importing the data.

I do, however, put a business card in with my mailings, which has my PO Box. 

He could use that credit card to buy materials for another job.  

I use the mobile version to scan business cards and do light editing of essential data, then I can follow that up with detailed categorization on my computer.  

I have created an account, and when I put in my credit card info, it did not pass.

Aside from that, you could mail them a yellow post card or letter and see if they are interested in selling.
