You dont need to be a citizen of this country to own a business .

I will take that over 200.00 a month positive cash flow :)  All the while running my Capital Partner business and funding over 120 deals a year for my hand picked clients. lThat's a nice combination.

Alabama is very business friendly and there isn’t nearly as much competition there as some markets.

These are by far the least amount passive so do your due diligence on understanding how to run a successful STR business and researching local laws on allowing STRs.2.

Try and join a few local Facebook pages and connect with locals who are in the house hacking business. 

I checked the Better Business Bureau for complaints, I checked the NJ State Attorney General consumer division to ensure he was licensed, I checked every reference he gave by visiting sites and speaking with the homeowners. 

If the handyman can’t get those things done in that amount of time they have no business being a handyman.

Just a few tips to look into but it usually takes some time to gain steam on your first listing so be patient and keep analyzing the local compeition /your own listing.
