That put my Realestate investing dreams on hold.

I think the idea that places like California are going to continue appreciating at anywhere near the rate they have in the past is a pipe dream.

I would not ever dream of doing this .especially in this price range

Last week I just accepted a full time position for next May when I graduate and it's my dream job.Since you are a freshman, focus on getting an internship for next summer. 

you have ups and downs just like the economy.. but its been a fun ride.. and I really enjoy all the different people I meet.. and take great pride in helping others achieve their dreams by funding their deals and companies.. my job is to make my vendors and clients millionaires that my only job.. 

Another 50 tenants and toilets sounds more like a nightmare than a dream to me.I'm with Jay in mindset.

So i just moved to Indiana a few weeks ago from California and going to pursue my dream of becoming a RE investor.

another out of state person who just probably lost a bundle on their cash cow dream U can make those work if you want to be there monthly to nurse it along and a lot of mom and pop landlords do that it is their job.. they look at their properties every week etc etc.. if you think your going to buy low end rentals and sit back and just collect rent well that wont happen.where that works is in Buying great first position performing notes that's REAL mail box money and passive.

It would be a dream to eventually have enough passive income to replace my job.
