I am amazed at all the different things they were able to cram into that house because of how shaded off it was from trees/ bushes.. but still right on the corner of a busy intersection.

As long as they are close in color shade , I then filter and  mix them up in a 35 gal plastic barrel which has a cut-off valve in the bottom to fill up the 5 gal buckets.By doing this, I pay average $6-$8/gal - The only thing I buy at the store is gloss / semi gloss white trim paint. 

The number shades a bit higher if you're building on a slope, building in a place with excessive permitting, etc.

Perhaps more costs.Also, when I peeked at your ad last night it seemed: (1) yours was the only rental in the area, so no instant comparables, (2) the photo of the exterior of your house was mostly in the shade (quite a contrast between left and right sides..), (3) for some reason, many of your photos initially loaded onto my screen sideways. 

In my market, I stay FAR away from neighborhoods that start to shade yellow on Trulia's crime maps. 

Anyway, the net result is that you might be “shading” the expenses slightly slow.
