I also like west lakeview/roscoe village area for a nice difference in as-is prices vs after rehabbed.

Hey just wondering if anyone on here invests in or knows the Memphis area well, more specifically out by the airport in OakHaven or Parkway Village? 

My grandfather owns a 3 bed 2 bath behind midtown village and is probably going to sale sometime this year.

There's one particular area called "chalet village" that has them.

I'd be looking to live on Chicago's north side (Roscoe Village, Andersonville, Lakeview, Irving Park, Ukrainian Village, etc.) and it seems like 2-3 unit multifamily properties, even places that need a little work, range from $400-650k and up.

Currently have a 3-flat in Roscoe Village under contract that we’re looking to convert to a single-family home.

And in those pockets, the only way for a village to make up the difference from the loss on income is to tax the heck out of real estate.

Locations are 2 in Marshall Square, Palmer Square, Belmont Craigan, and Little Village.

Hi Everyone,A few months back, I closed on a 2-unit in West Village and this week I got the notice from the Board of Assessors in regards to the new taxable value on the property. 

Congrats on your investment, Atwater Village is one of several areas I have done lots of deals in and know it pretty well.
