Craigslist sucks...... full of scammers, dead beats and tire kickers......Recently had my ad on another site pirated and placed on Craigslist by a scammer trying to rent my place out as his own.....Much better results with Facebook, Zillow, Truilia, Cozy, Hotpads etc.....

@Elizabeth Zielinski: I think Paul is just tired of the people on here that fluff Detroit investing too much and newbies getting burned by them.Your post didn't say anything about where you want to invest - for local newbies we recommend starting in the Ring Cities - those cities that touch Detroit.
