I would have put her in a house with privacy fencing if she was honest. 

I have a STR with a creek running right down the backyard property line...creates privacy and looks and sounds so nice at certain times of the year.

I spoke to a friend of mine who lives in Canada and he said I could get a duplex because I want to house hack but also have privacy and my own area (not sharing the kitchen, bathroom etc). 

Plus I also needed a privacy policy to link into FB to be able to run the ad I wanted to.

The anonymity I didn't touch on, but you can integrate it to provide more privacy by removing your name from public record through the use of Land Trusts.Just some thoughts.

I rented a room in Ballard in an old craftsman from 1910s with an apt downstairs and they had open access to our house from the basement door (no lock), the roommate in the house was good friends with the couple in the downstairs flat, so it wasn't too big of a privacy issue, but if a stranger moved in, would have been a completely different story.

One thing that is nice but unfortunate for your situation is that the company is very protective of the hosts privacy..
