It's feels like getting the engine started on the plane, getting the wheels rolling on the run way, feeling exciting about flight but not quite sure how to take off.

Does anyone have any experience in purchasing a property near the airport and renting it out as a "crash pad" for flight crew members? 

I'll never forget being with a colleague in the airport prior to a redeye flight when she needed to wait until midnight to get her bottle of water...because payroll hit her account at midnight.   

Gunning for millennial renters, who supposedly all want to live in major urban cores, and fueled by cheap money and foreign flight capital, massive building has been going on, almost all in Class A assets, and in a vanishingly small number of submarkets.  

There are many professions where people spend more time not sleeping in their own bed, yet still maintain that as their residence (pilots, flight attendants, military, traveling sales).If someone where to question your status, you could produce bills and tax returns showing your address.

This way, you can be rewarded for the material cost (perhaps 2 free roundtrip flights if you swing it right) and have a year to pay it all off. 

However, my strongest advice is to take a flight out to meet with any provider you're considering to see their operations and have them show you a few properties.
