I've had social workers working for agencies who routinely defend their client's behavior, as if violent, argumentative behavior, domestic violence, illegal drug use, violation of lease terms, and of course, always combined with non-payment of rent, were just a "cultural" difference.

I have owned 4 brokerages over the decades.. mostly to support my own activities.. thats the only way I would personally do it.. its constant recruiting.. and with the margins these days your not making much on the brokerage its a free place to work.. now in some markets were they have a strangle hold on agents and take a crazy cut like 50% I guess i can see that working.. but in competitive markets for agents you have 100% shops that just charge a flat fee per year.Like my wife pays 10k a year.. and gets 100%... the landscape is changing.for beginning in the business though I like the Keller team approach will will learn while you earn.. then figure out what you want to do.

but again untested, no historic performance data, the low hanging fruit is being picked off by syndicators then combining assets into opportunity funds so what kind of performance will come from that is unknown.
