Getting registered just means that the contractor complied with that part of the PA Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act (HICPA); based on my observations and my reading of that law, far too many contractors only comply with the registration aspect and not the rest of that law.

Hello,Our property located in Fort Worth,TX had a foundation repair after which it was recommended maintaining a constant level of moisture in the soil near and under the house (by placing a soaker hose on each side of the foundation no farther than 12'' from the edge of foundation to water DAILY during hot and dry months).Our property management company wrote a letter to our tenant explaining this, however I can not guarantee tenant complies.

@Rick Edgeworth You could service your own note if you would like however you would still have to comply with many of the CFPB requirements, or you could turn this note over to a servicing company to handle the payments, calls and compliance for you.
