Yet here I am responding to your post to try to help.I have lost count of the hours I have spent talking with other landlords to guide them through the pitfalls and landmines that could blow them off of the game board.

With this being my first development- what pitfalls do you see novice developers making that can be avoided?

I understand the pitfalls of being part-time but I have a lot of time to dedicate to getting going.

You can be the buyer's agent, learn the ropes and learn all of the pitfalls along the way, but your team leader will advise on how to resolve any issues that come up.
