Putting up shutters, waiting in line at 4am to hopefully get plywood, dealing with the aftermath of power outages, having to cut down three palms, two olive trees, one crepe myrtle, three mangos, one strangler fig, all mature trees on various properties, one branch fell on roof and punched a hole collapsed the ceiling of a unit, one branch as big as a power pole fell on another roof with one end resting on a live high voltage power drop, over 200 linear feet of fallen fences...all the damages and none of it covered by insurance as our windstorm coverage is around 5% deductable.

I don't expect that we will collapse into chaos anytime soon, but I do expect the stock market to "crash" significantly in the coming year or two, and that that will impact the rest of the economy.

They can't take down the wall themselves or they'll be in a worse position with their property (the roof will likely collapse or you could walk onto their property, etc), so it benefits them for you to sign off that you won't do anything either.
