It seems that one of her latestest defenses is that the builder did not put "something in the home" It is just interesting to watch someone fight a legal group that I know some of the people fighting someone that is pro se.

or are businesses other than Sole Prop required to use an attorney? and is the answer state/county-specific, or pretty much the same across the states??

If this was in NYC, I would have done a pro se case in court myself.

The state initiated an investigation (#4), but then essentially put it on hold pending the outcome of #2#2 dragged out for about a year because the tenants were pro se in the court and the judge gave them A LOT of latitude.
