Not quite the same as a fully brick and mortar office based model.For Realtors who don't plan to partake in the training or team building and are only looking to have MLS access and hang their license under a broker, eXp, KW, or any other big name is probably not the right fit.

The reason these folks are allowed to partake in investments that you are not, if you are not accredited, is basically the SEC placing greater liabilities on those investors to invest in riskier items because based on their wealth they are assuming those investors to be knowledgeable enough, and comfortable enough financially...that they are fully responsible and can be held to a higher standard in terms of their personal risk.

Beyond that, I would say a close relative has a pretty sizable commercial portfolio and they will not rent to this industry as long as it is federally illegal.... this relative happens to partake in the product (if you know what I mean), and still they want nothing to do with that industry until it is fully legalized.

Persist, don't give up and don't be distracted by other shiny objects along your path to success.Although a little bit riskier in nature, it may be worth considering an aspect of real estate investing that very few people partake in.

I don't track little rents so I would not know.. if they did or not.. but I will partake since the PM is doing it.I think it would not hurt to tip the PM at all..
