This implies you should be able to exit about even (small profit or loss).. https://www.corelogic.com/intelligence/us-home-price-insight...if your hold was longer so there was significant prop 13 discount I may recommend holding but not the case here.

For a 7 year old roof you should be able to find replacement cost coverage on your roof if you want it.This is a really good example of why I always say insurance is not all created equal and it's important to have an agent that can/will intelligently explain policy provisions.It sounds like you determined you had ACV on your roof on your own.

Take a look at the stock market today - retail investors flock towards bankrupt companies because it is a “good deal” that sounds like someone who doesn’t understand the premise of intelligent investing in the stock market - similar to those who may not understand how to leverage the 2 for 1 capabilities of a WLI policy.
