Private notes require more work than Stocks / Bonds, is the added return worth the extra work?

Just make sure that anything that earn for this settlement is not subject to tax and if it is - allocate properly. 

Where to spend the extra for durability and sometimes having to sacrifice aesthetics for durability, etc.

The junk removal is costing over $750 per dumpster, and they said they need 3 or 4 of them, I also have to pay extra $400+ for labor.
