If a duplex is hard to come by in the area we will be combing, then would a triplex or quadplex be too much for a new landlord to manage?

Use the enemy method and comb Facebook groups in your market 

I've combed through the meetup.com and Facebook for Little Rock.

I have talked to several hard money lenders and comb through/analyze properties daily.
