Things like sanding and painting doors, installing said doors, tile backsplash, general clean up, etc etc etc.

We have since updated the house by redoing the kitchen (quarts counter tops, tile floor, tile backsplash, and upgraded to stainless steel appliances.

Hello my fellow BP members, a few question for you all: What are your thoughts on epoxy countertops/backsplash?

Backsplash in the kitchens, nice floors in the bathroom (small areas, so the cost-bump is minimal), and updated lighting in some key areas (like the dining and living areas) go a long way.Basically anything you can do to activate that "Ooh, that's so pretty"/HGTV part of the brain, while being budget friendly, is a win. 

We would have added an accent to the island face or a backsplash using mosiac tile to add some color & flair.

You can use extra adhesive and try out flooring for backsplash applications.

Watch out for trendy backsplash styles and things that won't stay timeless.

This large 3/2 home with a large bonus room is nearly 100 years old, but it is still in good condition, and has been updated with new HVAC, insulation, electrical (installed by previous owner), flooring and paint, windows, and kitchen backsplash + counters.
