Would a home equity loan be a viable option in this situation, especially in regards to eliminating some of the red tape I'm running into with a refinancing an scorp-owned property?

Consider offering equity partnerships, debt financing with profit sharing, or preferred equity, where investors get a fixed return before you share profits.

Investment Info:Single-family residence fix & flip investment.

I'm looking to use it as an investment, not a primary residence.

There is around 500k equity in the property. 150k-200k would get the property fully rented at top dollar with desirable tenants. 100k would get it to where I can rent all the units back out at fair reasonable market rents.

Maybe your wife would be willing to take a lump sum based on the equity in the Air BnB. 

Possibly using mortgage/home equity loan on one unit we own to buy an extra one.3.

The majority will most likely want an equity position in the deal, and since wouldn't have an active role I'd be getting into a syndication rather than just a JV.

Who pays when the resident breaks the agreement and quits paying?
