Seeking Advice: Raising $160K for a Second Short-Term Rental Investment in FL

Yamil Naf
Posted

I currently own a successful short-term rental in Fort Lauderdale and have identified a new property nearby that I’m confident will perform well. I’m looking to raise $160,000 to cover the purchase, renovation, and activation of this new Airbnb property. My goal is to structure the investment so I don’t need to contribute any starting capital. I’m open to offering equity in the property along with annual cashflow returns to investors. I’d love to hear from others who have successfully raised funds for similar ventures and any advice on structuring such a deal.

You have one STR, and you want someone to bring all of the money for your second? Why would someone do this? One STR is a very small proof of concept. You want to talk to friends and family on this, I don't know anyone who would see this on the Internet and be like, yeah, this sounds like exactly what I am looking to do with my money.
