I've learned a lot from books and BP podcasts, but I've never pulled the trigger.Just got married and took out a HELOC right before the wedding with the blessing of my new wife to pursue my first rental after we got back from the honeymoon.I've got what could be a good opportunity to buy my father's first home that my uncle had been living in for years; my dad put my uncle on the mortgage so they both own the house.

@Artem Pustovar I am getting married in Dunedin next month and it is a destination wedding for many of our guests coming from NY state and Canada mainly.

Also lesser quality groups on meetup.org.Bob I recommend GaREIA.com for a local REIA , they have an experts group (in addition to evening education) that meets every Wed at 10am, see the calendar, and very useful for remote members, a google group (email list) for the deal makers  and one for new investors.
