Originally posted by Tom Cullen:Conservative believe what they see, liberals see what they believe.Mike M -See, this is a perfect example of what I meant above when I referred to people who just digress into weird and nonsensical partisan tirades when they don't have anything constructive to add...Instead of providing insight or even opinion on the topic at hand, all we get is a stupid one-liner that tries to discredit 50% of the population's input based on a meaningless (and sadly not even pithy, amusing or insightful) quote, obviously just parroted from some talking head.Surprisingly, Tom's comment didn't make some ridiculous association with Nancy Pelosi, cap and trade, gay soldiers or Nazi's, but it's only a matter of time...Tom - Thank you for helping make my point to one of the few people here who was actually trying to defend you...

I wasn't sure that was what she was asking. But if the listing agent and the investor have an inappropriate arrangement, it may not affect the OP but it affects the OP's clients and it is wrong/maybe illegal and should be reported. What I see is the OP's clients getting their deal hijacked and missing out on a house they want to occupy because an investor wants to get a cut. That is where I think the OP should care...to defend her clients.

Gee Marc, what I'm hearing is let the poor go defend the country and let us who are attempting to profit from any opportunity left in the country stay here and reap the benefits at the cost of others.Let the poor work at the desk in the Homeland Security Office answering the phone, cutting the cost of adminstration for the government, while others try to make a contribution by making money and paying taxes.Guess you're lucky you were not born in Greece in ancient times, where every boy was groomed to be a warrior and those who were not fit simply killed.

Jimmy H. Investing in War Zones
11 August 2010 | 23 replies
I wanted to start a thread not just to discuss what constitutes a war zone, (the number of murders, violent crimes, drugs in one area may constitute a war zone to one investor but not another) but more specifically to see if anyone out there on BP thrives in this "niche" market.Someone owns those house in war zones, and with as much as you see/hear/read about avoiding them there is potentially money to be made.I'd like see if anyone is willing to defend such an investment strategy, and I understand the issues that come along with it.
