In real estate, that would look like some solid LTR and maybe commercial tenantsThat being said, there are still many opportunities in STR in many areas.

If not, don't.Buying it down to 6% looks like you're getting a roughly 20% return on the cost of the points.

very sorry to hear that. a lot of "professional" unfortunately only look at you as a number and not a long term relationship. you should be able to put a complaint against home inspector to hopefully recover some damage they missed
