If you are talking about a city with higher crime rate but that has gotten artsy with a trendy district and resturaunts etc starting to take root then its like any city.

Which team is he rooting for?

Sidewalks will not be being pushed up by over grown roots and air conditioners will still have plenty of life left in them to get several decades down the road.
