The rate will depend on if the property is located in a major metropolis, the loan amount, the loan to value, the occupancy rate, if the property cash flows, the class of property, your credit, your liquid asset worth etc.

Thanks Stephanie and Mike for the info.I wasn't thinking about the upper scale neighborhoods like Lakeview so much as just the lower rent areas of kenner, jefferson, etc.
