In hopes that this provides some clarification -- we're hoping to do a move like this Sketchup file illustrates: Going from this: Changing to something like this: These two bathrooms are on the upper floor -- the kitchen is through the wall on the 'bathtub/shower side' of these two bathrooms -- and from what we can tell, has separate drain plumbing for the sink and dishwasher.

(Although we built the home ourselves the plumbing & elect wiring had to completed by 'professionals' & they did a lousy job).During cold weather extremities the proverbial cold-water sandwich effect hit during showering as well temp surges when another downstream shower, dishwasher, washing machine etc would come on-line.
