This information is fairly easy to find on your local city / county web site. 

FOCM loans is advertising all over the web and offering some pretty fair terms for hard money loans.

Located in booming San Antonio, TX area near Shopping Malls, Theme Park, Restaurants, Medical Center, plenty of stores in great neighborhood.

My reasoning was that it would be a safe place to store it until i could get it into real estate. 

I am a web developer living in San Diego, California area and have a long time interest in real estate, but have not jumped in as of yet.

So if someone sues you for your Ebay store they can now take your real estate...doesn't sound good to me.

I do think the OTA's are a threat to our businesses and I also like controlling my own destiny, but is it worth the time, effort, maintenance and cost to drive my own brand on the web? 

Are you prepared to take him/her to the tile store, paint store, carpet store, countertops warehouse, plumbing fixture store, etc.? 

I figure if the big corporations are investing millions of dollars in buying land and construction of new retail stores they vet out the area way more than any of us can.

They have the option of reserving the additional night(s) to make this much more comfortable for them so they don’t need to deal with storing their bags somewhere, finding showers etc. but they decide to save a few bucks and roll the dice.
