Intent is intent, regardless of whether you write it down or not...and it's just not clear to me what I'm writing down to try to convince them that the intent is something other than what my actions are indicating.For example, if I write down that I intend to donate the property, do I get to treat the property as a charitable donation, even if my actions (not donating it) indicate intent different from what I wrote down.I'm not trying to be obnoxious or argumentative -- I'm sincerely curious how I might be able to treat my flips as capital assets instead of inventory.
