My father has a cabin an hour from Madison, WI and has been profitable, but I am not sure how profitable this will be given the location.

I know of another local Realtor who has had great luck in the Madison area (37115 zip code) where she and her clients do renovations before renting the properties.

Hello everyone My wife and I are thinking about moving to Huntsville/Madison Al area from the Bay area in about 6 months time, we have 50k in savings and was hoping to invest in RE when we get there.We are not sure yet exactly what are the best options out there (since we are not familiar with the market) I guess my question is what are they best RE options area that area?
