Investing in Huntsville/Madison Al

Hello everyone

My wife and I are thinking about moving to Huntsville/Madison Al area from the Bay area in about 6 months time, we have 50k in savings and was hoping to invest in RE when we get there.

We are not sure yet exactly what are the best options out there (since we are not familiar with the market) I guess my question is what are they best RE options area that area?

We are also willing to explore other near by cities in Alabama for better options
