Cabinets - most of our original cabinets get stripped and stained/varnished with a new protective coat, or stripped and painted Navajo white with an oil based paint so that stains and splatters can easily be cleaned up after a tenant vacates.Paint - We use flat Navajo white on all walls and ceilings and we stock 6 colors of accent wall paint.

For the ceiling prime the stain with a heavy primer two to three coats then repaint the ceiling if you know where the leak can from.

Two weeks after I come back in the apartment and the carpet is still stained.

I had a tenant who stayed in my property for 1month or so after signing the contract, he decided to move and he stained carpet and there is cleaning issues, he wants full deposit but I said he will get half, now management company said he is disputing it, so they want evidence from me to prove cost, what can I say, please help

@Zoltan Fagyal I'm always there to start but then it's between the Tenant and Contractor.However I just had Painters in for couple of ceilings and when I went back they said the painters stained the carpet.

Once it is dead it does leave a stain but will not continue to grow.

This can be quite costly to remediate...gets in ducts, stains ceilings, etc.  

I am going even cheaper on my next rental and I will stain the concrete.

Is it really worth it to have that stain on his record over something as simple as changing a lock?
