My three siblings and I recently inherited my father's house within the city limits of Two Harbors, MN.  

I had shared the concerns expressed above, but as a parent of 2 boys and one of 4 siblings growing up poor, I would have really appreciated to have been taught the *financial literacy* component early on!!

His mother had passed and he and his 3 siblings own the house.

My 3 siblings and I inherited my mom's house after she passed away in 2008.

The property is being sold by the siblings of the original owner.

She and her 2 siblings are inheriting a home in Clovis, CA from their father. 

My father is taking out a mortgage for this property and my 2 siblings and I are starting an LLC to basically manage it.

If I were in your shoes, though, I would reach out to a parent, grandparent, older sibling (even your current boss) and try to get someone to cosign a mortgage for you.

He has collected quit claim deeds from all the heirs (his 3 siblings) from one of the decedents, the other had no heirs, except the 2 surviving siblings originally on the deed with him.

I was just about to start a thread asking why a hard money lender would want to lend to an LLC.I started one a few months back (used Rocket Lawyer) but did it just because I wanted a way my siblings and I could invest together with some family money.Was a bit frustrated on my first deal (still in progress) when our lender refused to go through the LLC.
