First off, we opened up the kitchen and the entryway to the family room/kitchen.

With HVAC, parking, and kitchen/bath updates, it would easily sell for current price.

He took a week off from his regular job to work on the kitchen, still not much progress.

We did some improvements like opening the kitchen to the living room earlier on our short 3 years of ownership.

All kitchen counter and bathroom surfaces need to be completely empty and clear.

Then coming to the almost end and biting your nails, trying to figure out where to get the funds for the lighting and kitchen countertop etc, knowing that you can't refinance until it's finished. 

I also learned that you need two people to install upper kitchen cabinets!  

I have a single family home that I've lived in that needs some general kitchen and  bathroom work .  

To increase kitchen cabinet/counter space on my current project, I'm removing an exterior door.
