What to do when your cabinet maker takes too long?
So I got this guy working on my cabinets and vanaties. He is about 80% complete. He works full time with some company so He is only available to work on weekends. He took a week off from his regular job to work on the kitchen, still not much progress. Money is straight. There were a few change ups made...10 days ago. and he hasn't addressed those. I am afraid he is going to set me back a week if he dosnt finish this weekend. I have a painter coming on Monday and I can't start the painter until the carpenter finishes his work
He was scheduled to be finished last weekend. It is 10am and he still hasn't arrived at the property
I made it clear to him he needs to be done Sunday night. He dosnt respond. I'm expecting him Not to be finished by then. Setting me back a week will cost me a lot of money plus it is unexcepable. How do I make it clear to him he needs to be done in two days when he has four days of work left?
I decided I can't work with him with future projects but firing him now will only cost me more time, looking for someone to finish, and money because of course the next guy will try to milk the situation
What would y'all do? Thanks
