Problem I have with that is there are no other shutters on my house and the green ick that sometimes appears on Hardiplank in Houston’s humid environment that has to be power washed or JoMaxed off. 

Orange is communications (red=elec, blue=water, yellow=gas, green=sewer, forgot what white is).  

I prefer a well manicured Green properties as we attract long term Tenants with well maintained landscaping in California people who consider lifestyle will pay higher rents.. 

This strategy safeguards our renowned horse farms and green spaces while regulating urban sprawl.

But David Greene suggests those aren't necessarily a safe move and to do the work yourself.
