This error caused about a 2 to 3 week delay to correct. 

So I have an applicant who says she will pay 8 months rent upfront to get the house. It sounds a bit of like overcompensation to me. Is it a normal thing, and what is usually the reason tenants want to do this?

For a while I just gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was too busy, but that just doesn't make sense especially when it started causing him so much damage. 

Hopefully doing what I recommend will cause you not to worry about this; it is not worth worrying about  I would definitely not use her again.  

Lawyers may have to be involved, thus delaying and complicating the process, however, as long as nothing was done with intent of causing whatever caused the claim, they'll cover it.
