I have asked for a statement of the fines and outstanding charges, but I got a feeling they are brushing me off.

To buy and be an actual investor, the same (I imagine:)  To just be a transactional operator i.e wholesaler, which is what brokers do (you know, broker transactions) having one will be redundant and worse, may paint you with the brush of a 'bad buyer that doesn't perform.'

Being a minor I have always brushed it off thinking I'm too young to do anything in that area.
