He left on his own, but when all was said and done, he owed me over $8,000 in unpaid rent and damages to the property.The lesson I learned was to have my processes in place and treat this like a business.

You should be able to find a reputable company for less.

They are a big group and people I spoke with did say they have a great reputation, but the northeast mentality of wanting things done yesterday does not work in every market.

Better to pay for a professional carpet cleaner and not risk carpet damage.

If you have kids or pets, flat painted walls absorb stains, sweat/slobber, and are difficult to wipe down without damaging the wall. 

Check the property, nothing seemed stolen or damaged but she made a run for it in her car.

To name a few she damaged her unit and the unit under her and not willing to pay for the damages that she caused (I had both places fixed).
