Odd STR guest interactions

What is one of your most odd STR guest interactions you've had?

I had a guest who somehow was able to "book" my place on airbnb and then get my check in email instructions for their one night stay. But the payment never cleared somehow and the booking was then stopped by airbnb but they already checked in. When I messaged the guest they would have to pay or leave they refused to leave. I live locally so I drive over to the property call police and she is speeding off just as I pull up with officers. Check the property, nothing seemed stolen or damaged but she made a run for it in her car. I changed the locks that night. Was a bad night as I had worked 12 hours that day and driven home 2 1/2 hours prior to the guest trying to pull that trick. She had also asked an inquiry for a discount before "booking". Was such a weird experience?? Ive never had a guest before or since successfully book without payment fully clearing their financial method of choice.

Of course we've had personal items left behind (wink wink), gun, etc. Guests that were liars and left damages and such, but ultimately most people we've hosted were great guests!
