I can read blog posts by news reporters on some aspect of RE and can tell they don't have a clue, at least they are just telling a story but with a style to influence others.....usually for public consumption.Same with RE investors, mentors, coaches as they get into more technical aspects, the blogs are skewed with opinion presented as factual.

I have classes, coaches, webinars, homework, all of it! 

@Klint Ruud, If he wants to be an active RE investor, I would consider spending a chunk of it to hire a mentor/coach and then use the remaining to invest once the education and coaching have been curated.I'm all for investing in yourself and education first.

Some are very good at managing and others fail at it.I remember being a teacher years ago and I disliked it because most of the job entailed managing students, attending meetings, grading papers, attending parent-teacher conferences, coaching basketball, managing my time, and managing my classroom.

I cannot speak to the Fortune Builders program but I do see considerable value in finding the right coach/program to help you to action against your goals.

What do coaches tell underdog teams before they go out and play the championship game?

They told me they were going to help me and coach me and I haven't see none of that.
