You cannot accept the authority of the governing bodies that tell you what to teach, how to teach it, and that you will be punished if you do not comply.

I agree with Will that if insisting on tiling over the existing walls you will need to rough up what's there to ensure a good bond, definitely agree there will be lots of dust and little pieces of tile to clean up/pull out of your arms, legs and any other exposed parts of your body...be sure to protect your eyes and wear a mask!!!  

Wondering if any body had similar experience?

They are able bodied enough that they could get some sort of job somewhere.

I just feel I could have framed it better, and that I also could have reacted better which led me to this post.

A strong mind cannot thrive within a weak body. 

You might want to talk to a company who deals in hazardous situations and clean up like chemicals as well as body clean up, such as after a person's death on site.

I would caution on the issue of a useless flood insurance requirement that you shouldn't assume just because you can't see a body of water that you are not in a flood zone or it will never flood.
