Obviously you need some education to even start, but buying courses that costs thousands or mentorships that cost even more I haven't done, nor will I, so I cannot tell other people to go do them.There are plenty of seasoned investors a newbie can align him or herself with that wont costs thousands upfront.

I agree with what nephets said, you may want to look into getting a job that aligns with your real estate interests to help you gain more knowledge.If however your credit is stellar then I would also recommend that you find a local bank and work up a good relationship with a lender there.
