There's a lot of money coming into Detroit from investors in France, Canada, South America, and the Netherlands too. 

I live in France where banks will not allow you to pay more than 35% of your monthly net revenues towards a mortgage (even if it's for a cash-flowing rental property).

Pretty much a logical "Duh" statement right there so there could be a few one off people that say "Hey my Podunk town has a refinery so I get tons of business" or "We have a great college football team so we're going to crush it on game days." 

On top of all of that, it boasts one of the best college football teams Ohio State Buckeyes, which is very well known and has a cult following, and attracts a lot of people to the games.

The property really isn't in bad shape and in a prime location (couple blocks away from 50th and France).

I would love to come back for some football games. 

Also in Midtown is the Liberty Bowl for U of M football.

@Zeb B.Hey,I would look into the university’s sport schedule and the popularity of their are football and basketball programs (especially homecoming).

I thought of asking my ex football player friend to come with me. 

I like Stark and Summit counties because it's where I live and know the sweet spots for decent schools yet lower property values.Massillon is a very strong football community that breeds a "born here stay here" mentality.
