: I don't know what kind of practice your husband has but unless there is an elevator in the building I would not put a medical practice in a place that requires stairs to get anywhere (even just for staff).

California has some strict standards for determining if mold spore counts are elevated, and many professionals in various states will use the California standards for their determination (even though it's not legally applicable outside of California).So, you'll never be able to honestly tell a buyer, "Tests indicate that there is no mold in the house!"

Check out your local building associations and also check out town permits and see who the contractors are or ask the local building inspector if he recommends anyone.go to REIA meetings and when you give your elevator pitch ask if anyone knows a reliable contractor that is investor friendly.
