Finding/Selecting local Contractors
Most Popular Reply

Hello @Nick Foundas Nice to have another Mass member here on BP.
It is one of our biggest challenges right now. Our current contractors cant keep up with the rehabs we have but we have many to deal with.
For your first one make sure you do your diligence and be very careful in giving someone new a deposit. It is a feel out period when you first hire your first contractor. Check out your local building associations and also check out town permits and see who the contractors are or ask the local building inspector if he recommends anyone.
go to REIA meetings and when you give your elevator pitch ask if anyone knows a reliable contractor that is investor friendly.
Sometimes contractors go to these as well.
