At first, I thought SS was what I wanted to focus on rather than other asset types (because of no toilets, less maintenance / capex), but now I'm starting to consider the long distance SFR BRRRR investment strategy. 

I know I can use upflush toilets and such, but I would prefer not to have to go that route.I dont really even need the plans.

Been a while since I looked into it but as I remember it you have to have separate meters for each unit, low flow faucets and toilets installed and a certificate from the town water commission that the requirements have been met.

For instance, a lot of old houses in Cincinnati have "the basement toilet".  

It may not make the most sense financially (assuming your investments actually all pan out and more than cover the debt), but you can sleep better at night not having to stress. 

Does the water gush continuously, or just when you flush a toilet?
