When you say hands on, do you mean I will have to be handy around the properties because vendors will not visit, or will I have to break up incidents and other problems?

I was referring to the hypothetical situation where Jay offered to lend anyone $25k for any no-brainer pawned deal, so long as they coughed up $40k to redeem their item - and was SCREAMED at with the word "EXTORTION!"

The area is good for winter visitors and I could rent for the winter months and make as much as a year around rental.  

Not a screaming deal but certainly better than most you will find right now. 

Really is amazing how many visitors flock to the island for summer vacations. 

Its usually the folks who do it for a living who are kicking and screaming don't do it as it takes income away from them.

Should I discuss this with the banks I visit or should I find a financial advisor for that later on?
